Fuji Contactors and Overload Relays

Magnetic Contactors - SC-E Series

Magnetic contactors featuring terminals with finger protection for up to 100 Hp at 480 VAC. These models have UL and CSA approval and bear the CE mark.

Models SC-E02 to SC-E4 have a 3-pole main circuit structure. They are available in three frame sizes, 43 mm, 54 mm, and 67 mm wide, and they enable a significantly reduced mounting area. Models SC-E5 to SC-E7 use an IC-controlled Super Magnet™ to ensure high operating reliability.
Features include:

• Standards: UL 508, CSA C22.2 , IEC 60947-4-1, EN60947-4-1, VDE 0660, JISC 8201-4-1
  
  
• Models SC-E02 to SC-E4 have 3-pole main circuits and come in three sizes with widths of 43 mm (up to 25 A), 54 mm (up to 50 A), and 67 mm (up to 80 A).
  
  
• Models SC-E02 to SC-E7 use a box terminal structure that allows wires to be connected directly to the main circuit.
  
  
• Equipped with a finger-protection terminal structure that prevents the exposure of live parts.
  
  
• Models SC-E5 to SC-E7 use a Super Magnet™ (AC-input/ DC-output operation) to achieve high operating reliability.
  These models also come with 2 normally open and 2 normally closed auxiliary contacts.

Magnetic Contactors - Odyssey 3NC Series

These larger contactors feature the Super Magnet™ coil for greater reliability and positive pick-up and drop-out.

• The 3NC4 models are rated from 180 - 221 A, with a 154 mm frame width.
• The 3NC5 models are rated from 285 - 361 A, with a 169 mm frame width.
• Super Magnet™ models available in 24 VAC/DC, 120 VAC/DC, or 240 VAC/DC coil versions.
• Equipped with 2 normally open and 2 normally closed auxiliary contacts

Thermal Overload Relays

Thermal overload relay functions include:

• Overload protection
• Phase-loss protection
• Rated current adjustment
• Ambient temperature compensation

Thermal Overload Relays - TK-E Series

These relays protect motor windings from burning due to overloads, locked rotor current, or open-phases. The TK-E series with open-phase protective device includes the following features:

• Maintenance and inspection safety has been improved by employing a finger protection mechanism to cover exposed terminals
  (conforms to DIN 57106, VDE 0106 Teil 100).
  
  
• Isolated normally open and normally closed contacts can be used with different potentials.
  
  
• A high-precision scale for the current adjustment dial enables easy and exact current setting.
  
  
• The operating status can be visually checked with ease.
  
  
• The relays can be manually tripped. A trip-free mechanism is also provided.
  
  

NOTES: Optional SZ-Hxx series base units are available to allow separate mounting of TK-E series thermal overload relays to 35 mm wide DIN rail or screw mounted to panel.

Thermal Overload Relays - Odyssey 3NK Series

These larger overloads are designed for use with the larger 3NC4 and 3NC5 Series contactors.

• The 3NK4 models are rated from 65 - 240 A, with a 119 mm or 138 mm frame width.
• The 3NK5 models are rated from 110 - 450 A, with a 142 mm frame width.

Optional Accessories

A variety of optional accessories are available, including:

• Auxiliary contact blocks with terminal covers (SZ-A Series)
  The front mounting auxiliary contact block allows two or four auxiliary contacts to be added without increasing the mounting area of the magnetic contactors.
  The side mounting auxiliary contact block allows auxiliary contacts to be added to the magnetic contactors without increasing the depth.
  
  
• Coil surge suppression units (SZ-Z Series)
  These units suppress surge voltage due to contactor ON-OFF operations, and can be easily connected to contactor coil terminals.
  Varistor and RC types are available.
  
  
• Mechanical interlock unit (SZ-RM)
  Used when building a reversing starter. Prevents both contactors from being pulled in at once.
  
  
• Reversing connection kits (SZ-ER Series)
  
  
• Terminal covers for contactors (SZ-N Series)
  
  
• Thermal overload relay terminal covers (SZ-WN Series)
  
  
• Replacement coils for contactors for SC-E5 through the Odyssey series (SZ-GSN Series)
